The Iosco County Historical Society cordially invites you to join them for
Fancy Hats and High Tea!
Whether you gather the girls together or come solo to enjoy the company
of friends you haven't met yet, join us as we celebrate springtime by "taking tea".
Vintage teapots, cups and saucers will take center stage amidst pretty table settings
and spring decor in the Museum's Lake Room and vintage parlor.
Arrive a little early and visit the Ladies Dressing Room on our 2nd floor
where fashions and accessories from days gone by are on display.
At 1:00 pm, we'll sit down to a fabulous "High Tea" complete with an assortment of teas,
savories (sandwiches), scones and sweets provided by Sunflower Tea Shop.
We'll indulge in a bit of girl talk, and have a little fun
voting for the winner of our "Fancy Hat Contest".
(All ladies wearing hats are eligible to participate if they wish!)
Karen Otwell, Advanced Master Gardener, will chat with us about the
historical use of herbs by farm families, and
Back in Time, featuring flutist Mary Henry, will provide the musical accompaniment.
This promises to be a unique and entertaining afternoon, and no one leaves empty handed!
We hope you'll join us for Fancy Hats and High Tea!
