A growing community archive
Digital Preservation Project
Digitizing Iosco County photographs, documents, artifacts, and recent history so they remain accessible for generations.

History was yesterday
More than 12,000 items preserved—and growing.
The Society has invested in the equipment and software needed to digitize its archives. Photographs and documents are being placed in a central database intended for the general public, researchers, educators, schools, local history groups, and future generations.
For the public
Discover the people, places, and events that shaped home.
For researchers
Connect photographs and records with family and local history.
For educators
Bring primary local sources into classrooms and programs.
Help complete the project
